If we were to only read portions of Paul’s letters or even the gospels, you might conclude that the Kingdom of Heaven is entered merely by taking the name of Jesus upon one’s lips and making a verbal confession.
Jesus’ message was, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” The Kingdom requires a decision. It is simple yet difficult. (We cannot preach repentance apart from the Spirit of God. Repentance is not a legalistic endeavor).
